Pilates
Join us Thursday,
February 14 at 9am in King Hall for a free Pilates class. Who can benefit from
Pilates? Basically, Pilates has something to offer everyone, whatever your age
for current fitness level. Following our free class on February 14 we will be
offering Pilates classes two times weekly in the youth center. Please wear
loose, comfortable clothing for the class and bring a yoga mat or towel. Free Master Class:

Acolyte Ministry
We invite 4th through 7th graders to join our acolyte ministry. It is a year-long commitment and sign-ups are in August & September. Acolytes bring the light of Christ into the Sanctuary and back out at the end of service. They also assist the pastors with various needs. Put your shoes on! Let’s go for a walk.
For all those who like to walk! Let’s go for a walk on Wednesdays at 8:00 am. The FFW (Foothills Fellowship Walkers) will meet at the corner of Wieghorst and Calle Albara to get ourselves healthy and to fellowship. Walking is a health benefit for all. From kids to seniors, everyone is welcome!
Yoga
Two times per week,
Wednesdays at 10:30 am in King Hall and Saturdays at 8 am in the
Youth Center we offer one hour of yoga followed by prayer and/or
devotion. Prepaid class cards are available for $40 for 6 classes or pay
at each class for a fee of $8. Invite your friends, this special series of classes
is meant to be an outreach to the community around Foothills church. For more

Foothills United Methodist Church Youth Scholarship
Foothills UMC will award two yearly scholarships in the amount of one thousand dollars each to two FUMC youth who are currently graduating from high school and planning to continue their education. These scholarships will be awarded to the students who have shown their commitment to service and leadership within the Christian, local and global communities.
To apply for the scholarship students will need to fill out the scholarship application, and to have two letters of recommendation to accompany the application. All completed applications will be due by May 1st in the year applying for the scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded no later than June 15th of the applying year.
Scholarship recipients will be chosen from the applicants by the FUMC youth group director, one church member who is working with the current year’s youth group, up to two other interested church members and the senior pastor of the church. All decisions of this committee are final. Scholarship recipients will be required to supply tuition or book store receipts and then will be reimbursed for these costs up to the full amount of the scholarship.
