Groups For Children From Grades K Through 5!

Hear stories of the new testament of Jesus' appearances to the disciples after the resurrection. Learn the ways in which Jesus' friends and followers shared the good news of God's love!

 

 

 Kid's Exploration - for students Kindergarten through 3rd grade

Children are not the church of the future; they are the church of the present. They are our companions in faith – God is active in their lives as in our lives. Foothills United Methodist is a place for all ages to grow in faith. Kid’s Exploration, for children in grades Kindergarten through third grade, and the 4th,  5th Fellowship programs are two of the many opportunities we provide our children to grow mentally, emotionally and spiritually in a fun environment.

Our Wednesday night programming for children begins at 4:45 p.m. with Children’s Choirs and is followed by a dinner. The program begins at 6:00 p.m. Each week kids will enjoy a kid-friendly dinner, worship, Bible study and special weekly activities such as games or crafts and prayer. This program is led by Sarah Robertson. 4th, 5th Fellowship

Foothills offers a unique fellowship opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students through the 4th, 5th Fellowship. Every Wednesday night during the school year 4th and 5th grade pre-teens meet from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Youth Center for games and discussions about our relationships with friends, family and God. Pre-teens learn about social skills and good decision making to prepare them for middle school. This program is led by Anthony Aranico, Amanda Grimm and Senior High youth who are learning to be in leadership. This fellowship meets on the same dates as Kids Exploration. Sign up here!
