Taking the Next Step
Why should I join?
The church is a community of people who love God and work together to serve the community. Making a personal commitment to follow Christ is one step in your journey as a Christian. Being part of an organized congregation is also an important step in following Jesus Christ. The Church provides an environment for friendship, caring, encouragement and traveling companions along life’s journey.
If you have attended and are interested in the membership process, we offer the following opportunities to introduce you to the faith journey.
Discover Foothills Class - Next session is April 24 at 6:30 pm
If you are considering membership at Foothills, the first step is to attend a Discover Foothills class, where you can explore membership and learn more about the church. Discover Foothills sessions occur approximately four times a year. A typical session has about 12 people attending and childcare is available with reservation for children up through four years of age.
The class is led by Rev. John Farley and our welcome and discipleship leader, Jeanette Ham. For more information please contact Jeanette Ham or call the church office at 619-670-4009. To register for the class, please fill out our registration form.
