Introduction Letter From Rev. Farley I have an invitation for you. I invite you to join me on a daily journey of scripture meditation, prayer, and faith formation. My goal is to help all of us renew our personal relationship with a God of grace who has come to us in the person of Jesus Christ. I will be using the resource, Irresistible Invitation: Responding to the Extravagant Heart of God.

This resource was written by Maxi Dunnam, former President of Asbury Theological Seminary. I will post daily devotions, reflections, and questions on the writings of Maxi Dunnam to guide us to a deeper relationship with the God who loves us and gives us life. It is my belief that this journey will in turn call us to be more faithful stewards of what God has given us.

You will receive the daily devotion beginning tomorrow via email. If you do not wish to receive the devotion, please contact Sheri Etter, 619-670-4009. The devotions will also be on our Facebook page and website to allow you to share your thoughts and reflections with others.

In addition, I will lead a weekly small group on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and on Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Disciple Room using Bible study and prayer to go deeper into the message and theme for the week. To sign up for the small group, you may go online to foothillsumc.org or call the church office at 670-4009. Please indicate which day you plan to participate.

God has invited us to abundant life in Jesus Christ. I am inviting you to make a decision to deepen your faith and strengthen your connection with God. Will you accept the invitation?
