The Season of Lent is almost here and with it, the path to the cross and the miracle of Jesus' resurrection. Take the journey with your brothers and sisters in faith at Foothills. It begins 2/10 with a breakfast in King Hall and then the Imposition of ashes evening service at 7 pm. Continue each Wednesday with dinners and classes until Palm Sunday and Holy Week starts on Sunday 3/20.
We then celebrate Jesus' return on Easter Sunday 3/27.

Wednesdays from 2/17 - 3/16 during Lent, come to Foothills' King Hall at 6:00 pm for a simple dinner of bread and soup with your faith family. Each dinner is followed by a video presentation and discussion on Christianity and coexistence, led by Pastor Eric. Read More 
For 7 weeks on Saturday during Lent, beginning on 2/13, a men's breakfast study is available in the conference room from 7 am to 8:30 am. The group will explore the "I Am" statements of Jesus. Read More

Staff Parish Relations Committe (SPRC)
SPRC is a committee at Foothills with the purpose of assisting the pastor(s) and staff in assessing their gifts, maintaining health holistically, their work-life balance and setting priorities for leadership and service.Committee members include: Dottie Crummy, Judy Endeman, Kathy Glass,
Norm Hapke, Nelson Melchoir, Jim O'Donnnell, Michelle Roach and Mimi Test as chair.

Several new families at the El Nido transitional housing apartments are in need of children's clothing. Please donate all sizes for girls ages 2-14 and boys ages 4-12 outside the sanctuary on Sunday mornings or to the offices. 
Foothills member and Reiki master, Kathy Cueva, brings the ancient light-touch, energy-healing practice of Reiki to King Hall. Contact her to experience her practice on 2/21 at 1 pm during her apointment only clinic.
The San Diego Master Chorale returns to Foothills to perform 'Eternal Light' on Sunday, 3/6 at 4pm. Mark your calendar to see this "voice of San Diego" choir. Read More

The Fiji mission team is hosting another pancake breakfast at Applebee's to raise money for their summer trip. Head to the Rancho San Diego Applebee's on 2/27 at 8 am. Read More
