Women's Retreat, Oct. 19-21
The women of San Carlos UMC would like to invite the women of Foothills
to a retreat. It will be held in the beautiful rolling hills of Temecula
at the Vina de Lestonnac Retreat Center.
Registration will be held on the
patio between services on Sunday May 13 and June 3. The cost is $210,
which includes 2 nights and 4 meals. The first down payment of $105 is
due when you register and the second is due in August. For those
interested in attending the Saturday sessions only, the cost for
registration is $75, which includes two meals and all of the Saturday
activities.
The theme this year is "In the
Garden." Come with us as we meet God in the garden and explore the ways
He touches our lives and calls to us. The retreat promises to be a
weekend of spiritual renewal, fellowship and fun. As an added bonus,
Foothills' own Diane Bernal will be a guest speaker on Saturday. Please
eMail Erin Western if you have any questions.

Security & Assistance Patrol
This past February marked the 4th year of existence of the Security and Assistance Patrol and 4th year without an incident during Sunday services. Thanks to all who have contributed and continue to participate in this very important ministry.
While walking the parking lots may seem mundane (and most of the time it is), it truly makes a difference and serves to welcome, assist, and, of course, as a deterrent. We have much to be thankful for at FUMC and the Security and Assistance Patrol gives our members, guests, and visitors peace of mind. We are continually looking for new members. So, tell a friend, please, and ask him/her to contact Kennett or me at (619) 447-5677 or at tspencer36@cox.net
