On April 11, the Sunday following Easter, Foothills and the other UMCs of East County, will be 'doing church' differently. We will organize multiple service opportunities for our entire congregation and the surrounding neighborhood to participate in so that we might bring our worship out into the world.
Just the presence of church members in orange vests in our parking lot has provided a sense of security, comfort and hospitality. Now we are in need of more volunteers! This is a great way to meet members of our church that attend a different worship service as you do, as well as help make Foothills safe and create a welcoming environment
Welcome Ministry may be the place for you! If you enjoy meeting and welcoming people we have a few ongoing opportunities: We are in need of a few more Mug volunteers to deliver Foothills' coffee mugs to first-time visitors.
We are in need of a volunteer coordinator and also people willing to deliver meals on a weekly or monthly basis.
