When you volunteer at Foothills, you spread hope, encouragement and information as you reach out to those who need help or support. You become the body of Christ living the mission to transform the world as a disciple with the simple caring act of kindness. You can make a difference!
People volunteer for many reasons; to help others, to make a difference, to find purpose, contribute to a cause they care about, make new friends, develop new skills, and share talents. Volunteering at Foothills can touch all these reasons. Our volunteers are wonderful caring people who truly want to help people.
We have places to volunteer in all of our ministries:
Worship (ushers, greeters, acolytes, etc.)
Mission (Common Ground, Meals on Wheels, Kairos, La Roca, etc.)
Music (singing, playing instruments, special programs)
Administration (office help, facility maintenance, special mailings, etc.)
Faith Formation (teaching, assisting, couselors for youth, etc.)
And that is just to name a few! We invite you to fill out a Volunteer Form and take the finding your strengths survey. Then call the church office, 619-670-4009, to let us know you're ready to volunteer!
