Easter Festivities
easter-2019-page-strip.jpg April 21 EASTER BUTTERFLY RELEASE!
(8:30am and 10:30am) KidsConnect meets during both worship services.
During the 8:30am KidsConnect, all kids will receive a butterfly to release during the KidsConnect Bible message time. We will take photos and email them to parents. For the 10:30 am service, KidsConnect leaders will bring the kids to the sanctuary lawn to meet their parents when the service is over. Tent canopies labeled with the different age groups will be located on the lawn to make it easy for you to find your child and sign them out. At that time, each child will receive a butterfly to release on the lawn. The remaining butterflies will be distributed to whomever would like to release one.

Our egg hunt has a resurrection theme-- the eggs are EMPTY!
Just as Jesus' tomb was empty on the day of his resurrection, so are the eggs. The symbolism continues when each child gathers 12 eggs, representing the 12 disciples, which they will exchange for Easter toys and goodies in King Hall. Following the egg hunt, there will be a magic show in King Hall for everyone to enjoy. Be sure to visit the tables in King Hall for VBS registration forms, or Memorial Day Weekend Family Camp, or MomsConnect, or Impact Sunday. If you are not attending the 8:30 service, parking for the Egg Hunt will be very limited at the church. Plan to arrive at 9:10am to use overflow parking at the Avocado Elementary School parking lot and walk to the church.
