We share Bishop Hagiya's deep sadness over the recent mass shootings. We encourage you to read the Bishop's statement and listen for the Holy Spirit's leading in how we are being called to put an end to gun violence in our communities and in our nation. As a faith community that takes our call to mission seriously, let us join our hearts in prayer for the victims and their families at a minimum. How can we as the Body of Christ take active steps in making systemic change to prevent future attacks? How can we put Christ's love into action? Bishop Hagiya offered some excellent suggestions, and you may have others. Let us begin this good work together as we continue to share Christ's love with the world.
