November was a month of community giving and sharing at Good Shepherd Ministry Center. It was a joy to see so many people utilizing GSMC facilities to pack and distribute food to needy families. Sonshine Haven partnered with Hillsdale Middle school. Hillsdale brought a school bus loaded with food. The students, along with Sonshine staff and volunteers, made Thanksgiving food boxes for 62 of their neediest club families.Common ground packed over 150 food boxes with 30 of those boxes going to families at EJE academy. Celebrate Christmas raised $2,000 for Bethlehem food pantry, Christmas boxes and Shepherd’s closet. We also received direct donations from our Good Shepherd Neighbors and Foothills parishioners. These funds are much needed to keep the pantry and the closet open and stocked. We also received donations to provide our refugee family with an amazing Christmas!

Thanks to the love and support that myself and the Mission leads have felt this past month we are going into the Holidays and the New Year with joy in our hearts and enthusiasm for next year and the continued growth of the Good Shepherd Ministry Center.
