Easter

Palm Sunday – April 2, 8:30 am Traditional and 10:30 am Contemporary. We remember Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, marking the beginning of Holy Week.

Maundy Thursday – April 6 @ 7:00 pm. We remember the Last Supper that Jesus shared with his disciples as we share the Sacrament of Holy Communion with Witness providing our music.

Good Friday – April 7 @ 7:00 pm. A service that retells the betrayal, suffering and crucifixion through the reading of the Passion story with instrumentalists and our Chancel Choir providing the music.

Easter – April 9, 8:30 am Traditional and 10:30 am Contemporary. We celebrate the Resurrection of Christ with prayers, sermon and song provided by our Chancel Choir,  Witness and Brass.

Self-Directed Spiritual Experience April 6th & 7th

You're invited to walk through the final moments of Jesus's life at the Self-Directed Spiritual Experience, a hands-on stations of the cross experience for all ages. The Self-Directed Spiritual Experience will be on the Sanctuary Patio from 5:00-7:00 pm on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Walk at your own pace alone or with family or friends. Plan to spend 30 minutes to an hour for the entire experience. This spiritual experience is an opportunity to encounter Christ as we remember Christ's death and resurrection. For more information, contact Pastor Kristie (kristie@foothillsumc.org).

Easter Sunday Butterfly Release!

Following both services, each household will receive a paper envelope containing a Painted Lady Butterfly to release at Foothills or to release at home. We hope you'll invite a friend to come with you to church and experience this beautiful expression of new life on a Sunday when we celebrate new life in Christ!

Flowers for the Easter Cross

Bring fresh flowers with you to church on April 9th to decorate the Easter Cross. We hope you'll be part of this annual tradition. After the second service, the decorated cross is placed next to the road for all to enjoy as they drive by our church.
