Sponsor a Beam - Support the Church 
The church is in great need of repair of the structural beams that also provide for the look and feel of our sanctuary. The cost of the repairs is about as great as the need: $200,000 needs to be raised and everyone's help is needed to keep our faith home strong. Plant-Based Cooking Class for Foothills 
Only 24 spaces are available for this great opportunity to learn how to cook for a plant-based diet and be a better steward of the world. The class is on July 30th from 9 am to 12 pm in the King Hall kitchen and is only $25 for Foothills members and $40 for couples (bring a friend)! Read More
Be A Summer Kids Connect Leader
Children's Ministry would love to have you help one or two Sundays this summer with KidsConnect. If you're interested in serving children at either the 8:30 or 10:30 KidsConnect times, please contact Lisa Stewart or put your name, phone and Sundays you'd like to serve on the tear-off card Sunday morning.
1 Service Sundays in August 
Throughout August and to the Sunday before Labor Day, Foothills is hosting a single morning of worship at 9:30 am, that will blend all the most beloved features of traditional and contemporary worship. Our two distinct services and their congregants will be together as one joyous celebration during this summer month.
Foothills Auction 2016! 
Save the date for our 2016 Auction - "Holy Guacamole! It's a Foothills Fall Fiesta!" October 1st, 5-9 PM at the beautiful home of Dale and Joy Pruitt. The committee is seeking vacation homes, boat cruises, special dinners, and more for the Live Auction segment of the event. If you would donate, please contact Karen Smith, the church office, or any member of the auction committee.
The Season of Aloha is Here 
Temperatures are rising and that means it's time to relax a little in the pews on Sunday. The season began on Father's Day (June 19). No Hawaiian shirt is too tacky or sleeves too short. 
Caregiver Support Group 
A new support group for caregivers of all kinds has begun at Foothills, taking place every second and fourth Wenesday from 10 am to 11:30 am. Free respite care is available during the meetings which are facilitated by Sue Sullivan. The group meets in the Youth Lounge. 
Grief Support Groups and Counseling 
Two grief support groups will be available at Foothills, facilitated by grief counselor, Carol Paton. The groups will meet on Wednesdays at either 3 pm or 6 pm in the sanctuary library from June 1 to July 27. Read More 
Altar Flowers 
Dedicate a bouquet of flowers that will sit in front of the podium on Sunday mornings to a loved one and help make our worship more resplendent. Sign up for a Sunday with the form on the narthex kiosk, or call the church office at 619-670-4009, or email Sue Ranck
