Get Involved and Make a Difference
Each week we will focus on some of the many ministries and missions that will be on display at 'Launch into Ministry Sunday.' Discover how you can make an impact in the lives of others through our church ministries or community outreach. Bring a friend with you to church on Sunday, Sept. 13 and take your faith to new heights -- as we launch into ministry together!

Pew Pocket Volunteers
Every week, two volunteers go through the pew pockets in our sanctuary to refill items and ensure that everything is ready for the following week's service.

Sunday Morning Greeters
Our first-time guests tell us they feel warmly welcomed when they visit Foothills. That is largely due to our hospitality team and there's always a spot for more smiling faces.

Adult Bible Class
Traditional adult Sunday school class with fellowship, hymns, snacks, prayer time and Bible study. Meets in the Conference Room, Sunday mornings from 10-11 a.m.

We have reimagined Sunday school and infused more fun and learning activities that engage the children in learning to follow in the ways of Jesus Christ! Kids gather during both the 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services at Foothills in the King Hall Connection Center. Adult and youth volunteers are always needed!

is a youth fellowship for sixth through twelfth graders. Time is spent in games and discussions designed to help youth identify with their core feelings and spiritual beliefs. FUMY meets Sundays from 6-8 p.m.

Good Neighbor Center
Foothills supports the urban outreach center of Metro with food donations that are distributed to in need urban centers of San Diego city. Help is also needed to organize and distribute donations.

Foothills Faith Academy
Foothills' preschool has served East County for more than 40 years. Voted "2013's Best Neighborhood Preschool" by La Mesa Courier, It has grown to include an infant-toddler program.

Worship Theme Teams
As the liturgical seasons change, members of the congregation are invited to help decorate the sanctuary (Advent and Christmas, Lent and Easter and Thanksgiving).
