The Bethlehem Food Pantry thanks all those who prepared "Reverse Advent Calendar" food boxes as you counted down the days to Christmas. Rather than receiving a treat each day, you gave the gift of non-perishable items to those who struggle to make limited food budgets stretch an entire month. The boxes were hauled to the pantry on Sunday, January 6, for sorting and shelving by an enthusiastic group of pantry supporters. We are grateful.
Where is the Epiphany Star Leading You?
Saturday morning worship for the recipients of food assistance at Good Shepherd Ministry Center has been going on for several weeks. Over the holidays and with Epiphany, the group, and their many assembled cultures, participated in a unique blessing.

Meal Ministry Leadership Committee 
If you are called to help with the leadership of this outreach program, contact Marian Folkner and attend the leadership meeting on Friday, January 17 at 1:00 pm in the Disciple Room. The Foothills Meal Ministry provides meals to this community of faith for those experiencing a temporary need due to an illness, surgery, suffering a loss, or the birth of a baby.
The Gift of Wisdom - A Retreat for Women 
Saturday, February 1, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm, $45 - includes lunch and supplies. Join in a day that has been prayerfully created to be inspiring, creative, nourishing, fun and memorable! Pastor Lori will guide attendees through a day-long event that includes a breakfast tea, lunch, and a spirit-filled closing worship with Witness. Submit Your Lenten Devotional 
All keen newsletter readers noticed that the Lenten Devotionals submission deadline as printed last week seemed relatively impossible. Your editor is here to tell you the proper deadline for your Bible verse, 50-300 word thought, short prayer and name submission is actually February 5. Right around the corner, but not impossible!
