1 More Gathering on the Green
 
Will it be the last one?
The county has moved into the orange tier, our pastors are vaccinated, so on the 25th, we will be in the sanctuary! Enjoy what may be the last gathering on the green, this Sunday the 18th at 8:30 am. It's a perfectly pleasant way to start a Sunday. Please reserve your spot using this sign up link. Our online service continues each Sunday at 10 am.
 
Earth Day Event 4/18
 
A Sustainability Swap
Each year on Earth Day, our EarthCare group puts together a market and garden swap. This year, after the last Gathering on the Green of the year, the event continues. Bring your succulents, fruits, seeds, small garden tools, etc. to church this Sunday, 4/18 and at 9:30, after worship, the group will help facilitate this sustainability swap!
 
Dialogue on Race Class
 
In partnership with La Mesa Churches
Foothills is offering a series of classes entitled Dialogues on Race. This is an 8-week series, on Wednesdays, 6:00 pm - 7:15 pm, April 14th - June 2nd. Generously sponsored by our neighbor, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, these conversations on the issues of race, diversity, equity and inclusion will be co-facilitated by Antoine Cummins and Deacon Melissa James on Zoom. The only cost to participants is a Dialogues On Race Learner Book at $10 each.
 
Women's Retreat 2021
 
Joy From the Inside Out
Join guest speaker Rev. Kristie Grimaud and the rest of the women of Foothills UMC for a virtual women's retreat exploring how to be joyful, inside and out. Save the date now, more details will come: May 22, 9 am to 12 pm.
 
Donation Drop Off + Volunteer
 
The Need and the Good Work Continues
The Bethlehem Food Pantry and Shepherd's Closet Clothing Ministry continue to accept groceries and gently used clothing: List of needs. You may drop off donations at the Grant Avenue entrance Fridays, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
