The Advent study, 'Home for the Holidays,' continues on Wednesdays throughout the month. On Sunday, Foothills holds its annual Christmas concert. All of our very talented musical groups will gather to present a Gift of Music. Be in attendance at 4:00 pm.
Pastor Lori will be leading a 12 week grief support group in January.
With the holidays here, please consider giving regularly
to ensure a comfortable season for those in need.

The Mission:
To glorify God by advancing spiritual, emotional, economic and physical wellness within our communities. Foothills runs this ministry located in the center of El Cajon. The site provides adult and child education and health services, a clothing center, a food pantry and more.
Your donations and service are essential to keep this ministry strong.

Current Needs:
These needs do not change often. Please give regularly. Contact Paula Perry to get involved.

Gloria! A Christmas Gift of Music
Be in the Sanctuary on December 9th, for the annual "Christmas Gift" Concert. Over 100 musicians will fill the front of the Sanctuary for the 4:00 start! The kids and adults will be ringing and singing; Witness will be in "rare" form; and the Chancel Choir will be featuring John Rutter's "Gloria" one of the most impressive seasonal pieces of the 20th Century, for choir, brass, percussion, and organ!

Celebrate Christmas Marketplace Thanks You
The market was supported by our congregation at a level for which the Mission Commission wishes to express to you deep and great thankfulness. In just 3 hours you gave $11,868.00 to support people in need both locally and globally. In addition, the Guatemala Project was supported with sales amounting to $2,000.00. Also, there were all of you who took tags from the Christmas trees in support of the children and families of Common Ground, El Nido, and the people who come to the Good Shepherd Ministry Center for clothing and food. Thank you too, for all the individuals who supported the logistics of this endeavor, from gift card making, to flyers and communications, to refreshments, to the joyful cashiers, to setting up displays that invited you to learn and contribute.
What a day, what a morning of giving!
