The preschool and nursery at the Foothills Faith Academy is a fun and enriching place for children. Located on the campus of Foothills United Methodist Church, it is a quick, convenient and safe location for East County San Diego families in the La Mesa, Spring Valley, Rancho San Diego and Mt. Helix areas.

Our preschool is open 7:30 am – 5:00 pm daily
to meet the weekday needs of your family.

About the Preschool

Foothills' Preschool has been serving the community for over 40 years. We offer a high quality program where children two to five years-of-age are placed in classrooms with a low student-to-teacher ratio. All of our teachers have completed coursework in Early Childhood Education. A warm, loving environment is maintained that also offers exciting learning opportunities in all areas of curriculum, including faith formation.

Foothills' Preschool offers an inviting and stimulating environment that will enhance your child's learning experience. Our program provides opportunities for your child to grow in all areas including independence and self-esteem, reading readiness, math and science, motor coordination, creative experiences, social skills and spiritual awareness.

About the Infant Center

The Foothills Faith Academy Infant Center was started in 2013 and immediately filled all of its spots.
We maintain a 3:1 faculty to child ratio and pay very close attention to the needs of the children and all of the regulations and requirements from the State of California for the care of infants. Children attending the Faith Academy Infant Center will learn vital early social skills, will stay on a closely monitored schedule and have an inexhaustible source of toys to play and create with.
