Worship at Foothills

Pandemic Actions

To mitigate the danger to our community, our worship experience has changed.
Normal worship and gatherings are currently on pause.
Our services will be pre-recorded and posted to YouTube, Facebook and our website each Sunday at 10:00 am, with live interaction available on all of those platforms. There is no account needed to interact and chat during the service on our website.
In-person worship, in the sanctuary, is available for up to 100 people each Sunday at 8:30 am.

This Sunday

10:00 am Live Watch Party: foothillsumc.online.church/
Also available on Facebook (@foothillsumc) and YouTube (@fumclamesa)
May 9 - 6th Sunday of Easter

Title:
The New Commandment
Preacher: Rev. Greg Batson
Music: Contemporary Praise Band
Scripture: John 15:9-17
Details: "This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you" (John 15:12) These words spoken by Jesus to his disciples are part of his final instructions to them before his betrayal and arrest. It is an unbroken connection: God loves Jesus; Jesus loves the disciples; the disciples love one another. Following this new commandment is the path to joy in life.
