This Sunday

January 23
3rd Sunday After Epiphany
Title:
Good News For Whom?
Preacher: Rev. Greg Batson
Scripture: Luke 4:14-30
When Jesus read the scripture from Isaiah in his hometown synagogue, he was praised by the congregation. However, when he preached that the good news of God's redemption and salvation was for all people, the crowd turned on him. Jesus' sermon is the key to understanding Luke's gospel - that God's love is offered not to the few but to everyone.
