15th Sunday After Pentecost
Sermon Series: Difficult Words of Paul
Title: Difficult Words of Paul
Preacher: Pastor Kristie
Scripture: 1 Timothy 2:1-15
Music: 8:30 am Traditional | 10:30 am Witness
On the heels of the Difficult Words of Jesus sermon series, we will use the same technique to interpret the difficult words of Paul. Paul says in two verses that women are to keep silent in the church. Which churches was he referring to? Does the Patriarchy still rule churches in the 21st century? And what did Jesus have to say about women in the church?
Length: Worship services are generally 60 minutes.
After our worship: fellowship on the patio.
For the 8:30 service, kids ages 2nd grade and older will worship with their families in the sanctuary and can pick up a Worship Activity Bag to help them follow along. Kids ages 1st grade and younger will be escorted to "Bible Fun for Kids...and More!" in the childcare center for a Bible story, craft, and time on the playground.
For the 10:30 service, kids ages 3 to 8th grade start in the worship service and then are escorted to KidsConnect in King Hall by their leaders for large group time (Bible story) and small group (fun and engaging Bible activities with their peer/age group).
Childcare for children ages 6 months to ages 3 or 4 is offered at all services in our Childcare Center. Click here for more information.
Communion Services are held the first Sunday of each month during the 8:30 and 10:30 am services.
Sunday Classes for Adults and small groups are held on Sunday mornings between services.
